Back to School Konadicure

Hi everyone!  I got some new Konad Image Plates with my Christmas cash and decided to use a new one to do my nails for the first week of school!

Here are my new Image Plates, along with a new Konad special polish, green.

 m45, tip designs
 m27, fish designs
 m60, full nail designs
m57, full nail designs

For my back to school mani, I used m60 with the argyle design.  The base is Four Leaf Clover by China Glaze and I used Konad white special polish for the argyle design.  The white turned a shade of light green when I put the top coat on, but I'm not sure if it's because I didn't let it dry enough or what, haha.

Hope you enjoy!  Don't forget to check out my giveaway which ends on Wednesday, February 16!

JustSomeNailsByMJ 50 Followers Giveaway!

Hello there!  A few months back I mentioned in a post that if I ever reached fifty followers that I would do a giveaway, and now I'm doing good on my promise!

In my most recent post, I asked which brand would be preferred, and the feedback I received pointed to OPI.  So, I went out today and bought a polish especially for this giveaway - "Teenage Dream" from OPI's new Katy Perry line.

I found this photo from a Google search and took it from this website.

This giveaway will be simple - it is open to United States only, though, sorry  ALL followers, both U.S. and International!  You must be a follower to enter this giveaway and new followers are welcome to enter as well.

To enter, please fill out the form below with your Name, E-mail Address, and GFC name (All required, all equal ONE entry).  You may enter your e-mail address in code (i.e. myemail[at]server[dot]com), if that makes you feel safer about bots getting it :)

You have the option of ONE extra entry, which may be gotten by either Tweeting about my giveaway or Blogging about my giveaway.  To receive the entry, please enter the Twitter Status URL (your Twitter must be public so that I can view your tweet) or the Blog Entry URL.

This giveaway will close one month from now, on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at 11:59pm.

Questions?  Comment on this post and I will answer in the comments!

My giveaway is now closed.  Thank you!

In case disclosure is needed: I went to the store and bought this with my own money to provide for this giveaway.  I will also be mailing this polish with my own money.

Has Anyone Ever Seen This?

So, as I mentioned in a previous post, I received Four Leaf Clover by China Glaze for Christmas.  I am very excited about the color, but I noticed something odd about the brush as I was painting my step-mother's nails.  It wasn't until tonight that I got out the polish and the tweezers.

At first I figured that there were just two brush strands stuck together somehow, but it's actually one complete strand that has been put on and the other side attached as well... check out the photos below.

So, I'm considering just cutting the offending piece off, but what is your input on the situation?  Would it mess up the brush?  I think it would be okay if I cut it, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if they have any advice.

Also, a bonus photo - the following is a quick swatch of China Glaze Sexy in the City.  It's not the official swatch, but it seemed like a good way to show off my new Fossil wallet, which I love!

By the way!  (in case you're still reading ;))  I am going to do a giveaway soon, since I have passed 50 followers!  Thank you so much to all of my new followers - I really appreciate your support.  Would you all rather see an OPI or a China Glaze polish in the giveaway?
